Boston Marathon
My brother Dan was in town recently to run this year's Boston Marathon.

We put together a peanut gallery. Dan brought his girlfriend Julia and our aunt Eleanor brought her friend Corey.

The wheelchair athletes came by first:

Intermixed within the wheelchairs was a group of people racing goofy vehicles that looked like wheelchairs with pedals. These were typically driven by people who could walk just fine; they were much slower than most of the wheelchair athletes. I did not understand what kind of statement they were trying to make.

They always have a Red Sox - Yankees baseball game on Marathon Monday, and there were some fans mixed in with the crowd. (I don't think these guys ran the full distance - note that they're not wearing numbers).

Boylston Street
Boylston Street was quite a zoo. It took us about an hour to meet up with Danny after he finished.
