Keri's Wedding
My cousin Keri and her fiancee David didn't want to have a big wedding. In fact, they didn't want to have a wedding at all - they have a lot of friends, and picking and choosing who to invite and who to exclude was simply too much of a headache. But the Smathers family was simply too ready to party, and a very small wedding was planned. Plane tickets were cheap, so Pat and I flew to Houston to crash the event. What the heck, it was a great excuse to spend some time hanging out with my parents.Speaking of parents, my mom took some pictures, too - see Set 1 and Set 2.
The ceremony was simple, and the guest list was small, about 25 people.

Cake
So Pat and I have been to a ton of weddings together over the last few years. Which always leads us to conversations about things we would do differently if it were our event. Lots of people spend time worrying about what kind of cake to get so that the event will be truly memorable. Carrot cake? Chocolate cake? My idea: Crab cake. Picture the mound of steaming crabby goodness, as the frosting melts and the little statuette tips over...

GottiTown
The reception was held at a place called "GattiTown". They had pizza and video games and stuff. It was their first wedding reception.
